Giannis Antetokounmpo had a double-double in Saturday’s FIBA World Cup game, but it wasn’t enough as Khris Middleton and Team USA beat Team Greece 69-53.
The Greek Freak finished the game with 15 points and 13 rebounds, along with two steals and one block.
His Bucks teammate Khris Middleton didn’t see as much success on the court, scoring just four points and grabbing four rebounds. Middleton also finished the game with four personal fouls.
In an unusual move, Team Greece chose to sit Giannis for the entire fourth quarter of Saturday’s loss to Team USA.
The next game for Team USA will be Monday, September 9, 2019 against Team Brazil.
The next game for Giannis and Team Greece will also be played on Monday, September 9 against Team Czech Republic.
