A late pick-up for the 2018 Milwaukee Brewers will return for the 2019 campaign.
The Brewers announced they have re-signed Erik Kratz for 2019.
The catcher, 38, played 67 late-season games and nine postseason contests with the Brewers in their run through the 2018 playoffs.
He batted .236 in the regular season with a .634 OPS, six home runs and 23 RBI.
In the postseason, he came up bigger with a .292 average, .721 OPS and three RBI. His two-run single in Game 2 of the NLDS helped power Milwaukee to a 4-0 win over Colorado.
