It seems that the national pundits are paying attention to the growth of the Milwaukee Brewers.
USA TODAY has come out with their “semi-scientific guess” about the 2018 MLB season, and Brewers fans will really enjoy where they have Milwaukee.
They believe the Brewers will host the National League Wild Card against either the Colorado Rockies or co-archrival St. Louis Cardinals – Milwaukee's third playoff berth in 10 years after just two in the previous 38.

Certainly, grains of salt should be taken with such a prediction, because even though we are less than two months from Opening Day, much of the baseball free agent and trade market has not yet settled. The Brewers – and 29 other teams – could pick up some major pieces to their roster puzzle.
But at least this gives a reflection of both the Brewers' rise from the dregs of the sport and the off-season moves GM David Stearns has already made to shore up this team.
Stay tuned. And be a bit excited. This year could be a wild ride with a big payoff.
