A free agent defensive lineman who last played with the Green Bay Packers faces drug and drunk driving accusations after an arrest this week.
NFL.com reports that New Jersey State Police arrested Muhammad Wilkerson after being pulled over Monday at 2:45 a.m. He faces charges of possession of both drug paraphernalia and marijuana, along with DWI.
A passenger in his vehicle also reportedly was arrested on the same drug charges.
New York Police took Wilkerson into custody in 2019.
Wilkerson played with the Packers for three games of in 2018. He finished the year with no sacks and five tackles after going on injured reserve with an ankle injury. He was with the New York Jets for seven previous seasons as well.
