A report says that the Green Bay Packers are asking for an interview with the offensive coordinator for the team with the NFL’s best record in 2018.
Reporter Jason La Canfora says that the Packers have asked permission to talk with Saints coordinator Pete Carmichael, Jr. about their head coaching job.
They have already set plans to interview Saints assistant head coach Dan Campbell.
This now makes 10 possible candidates for the open head coaching position whom have either been interviewed, have interviews scheduled or whom the Packers have requested an interview with for the job held by Mike McCarthy for nearly 13 seasons.
