Since November 22, thirty members of the Baltimore Ravens organization have tested positive for COVID-19 or been deemed a close contact.
The Ravens scheduled week 12-matchup against the Steelers is being postponed for a third time.
The game is now scheduled for Wednesday night.
Baltimore‘s week-13 Thursday Night game will, instead, be played Tuesday, December 8.
The NFL is listening to the Ravens request to conduct at least one practice in advance of facing a Pittsburgh Steelers team that has yet to lose a game this season.
So why were the Denver Broncos left hung out to dry to play Sunday with a practice squad Wide Receiver at quarterback? Because Denver‘s quarterback wounds were self-inflicted.
NFL protocols for masks and social distancing were not abided by, and the league showed zero sympathy. Denver‘s request to have Sunday’s game moved, was denied. Denver‘s request to have a member of the coaching staff added to the active roster…also denied.
The message is clear: Follow the rules, and we’ve got your back when you-know-what hits the fan.
Cast aside our protocols…you’re on your own.
