Everybody plays everybody.
An added wrinkle for Major League Baseball in 2023: every team will play every other team in the league.
Brewers’ President of Baseball Operations David Stearns loves the opportunity to see uncommon opponents come to Milwaukee.
“It’s certainly the first time in any sort of recent memory where this has been the case,” Stearns told Wisconsin’s Morning News on 620 WTMJ. “A number of teams are going to get to Milwaukee and to American Family Field that we normally wouldn’t see except for once every 6 years or so. I think it’s a good feature for baseball. I think it’s good to play everyone. I think it’s good for fans across the country to see stars on other teams that you wouldn’t normally see, so I’m excited for it.”
The Brewers’ 2023 schedule has been released in full.
They’ll open on March 30th at Wrigley Field against the Cubs.
The home opener is just a few days later, April 3rd against the New York Mets.
