It's been a phenomenal year for the Milwaukee Bucks.
As of Friday morning, they are just three wins away from a trip to the NBA Finals and seven wins away from a championship.
Wisconsin native Sam Dekker thinks they can make it all the way.
“I think the Bucks win this series in five or six, and I think they win it all,” Dekker tells WTMJ. “I have been saying that all year.”
He says the team's depth is key.
“I think they have the best team, I think they have the deepest team. Obviously it helps when you have a superstar like Giannis, but when you have such a good core group of veterans- Mirotic, Lopez, George Hill, Eric Bledsoe- those are guys that don’t get rattled in big moments. Then you have energy guys like Connaughton and Brodgon, so it’s a deep, deep team with not many weaknesses.”
Dekker and wife Olivia have been following the team closely and make frequent stops to the Badger State.
“I like the Bucks chances a lot. It’s been fun to watch and it’s been fun to see the state get so excited.”
