Despite his opposition to it, Wisconsin Attorney General Josh Kaul will not withdraw the state from the lawsuit opposing the Affordable Care Act, saying he doesn't have the authority to do so.
Kaul, in a three-paragraph letter to Governor Tony Evers, who ordered Kaul to withdraw from the suit, wrote that the Wisconsin Department of Justice “does not have statutory authority to withdraw the State from the ACA litigation absent approval from the Joint Committee on Finance.”
Kaul weighed in on that, Red Flag laws, medical marijuana and more when he joined WTMJ's Scott Warras and Melissa Barclay on Wisconsin's Afternoon News Monday.
