WTMJ’s Jeff Sherman was joined by Roger Caplinger who is an Ambassador for the Seena Magowitz Foundation and the former Milwaukee Brewers medical director.
Caplinger talked about his journey after he was diagnosed with pancreatic cancer back in 2017 and his team at the Milwaukee Brewers front office helped accommodate him during his recovery. The Medical College of Wisconsin played a big part in Roger’s treatment. He said having a great support team like his family, but especially an experienced medical team, are key when it comes to dealing with cancer.
After retiring from his role with the Brewers in 2020, he joined the Seena Magowitz Foundation.
He also talked about the Dinner on the Diamond event held by the Seena Magowitz Foundation on August 16th during their Annual Pancreatic Cancer Patient Conference.
Roger also talked to parents about how they can keep their kids prepared in little league play, like being flexible and hydrated.
