Milwaukee Irish Fest, the largest Irish cultural festival in the U.S., returns August 14–17 to Henry Maier Festival Park with 18 stages of traditional and contemporary music, Irish dance, and other Celtic programming, plus international headliners like Skerryvore’s 20th Anniversary Show. Enjoy authentic food and drink, family activities, Irish sports of hurling and currach, and lots of cultural exhibits and displays.
Museum of Wisconsin Art’s 8th Annual Art & Chalk Fest returns to West Bend August 16–17. The free outdoor festival includes free admission to MOWA. Watch MOWA’s parking lot be transformed in real time by nearly 20 chalk art creators, live music including a Saturday performance by DJ Shawna, and participate in interactive activities for all ages.
