A new trend of smaller percentages of positive coronavirus tests is continuing with the latest data from the Wisconsin Department of Health Services.
3.6 percent of coronavirus test results over the last 24 hours were positive. That continues the trend of smaller positive test percentages which began late last week.
6.8 percent of tests on Saturday had been positive. That means Tuesday’s percentage is slightly more than double what Saturday’s was.
The State of Wisconsin had 7,495 total tests come in over the last 24 hours – higher than Monday. Yet the total of positive tests was 279, less than the 300 on Monday.
15,863 people have had positive tests for coronavirus since the pandemic began. 517 of those people died after contracting the virus.
