Employees at Messer Cutting Systems have returned to the building, and Fountain Blvd. has been reopened.
Menomonee Falls police officers will be remain at the business while the investigation continues.
MENOMONEE FALLS, Wis. — The Milwaukee Police Department’s bomb squad is assisting Menomonee Falls police after a bomb threat was discovered at Messer Cutting Systems.
Police responded around 6:31 a.m. on September 25 to reports of an employee finding a note that read “THERE IS A BOMB IN THIS BUILDING” near Fountain Boulevard and Garwin Mace Drive.
Approximately 40 employees have self-evacuated from the business, and Menomonee Falls police tell WTMJ there are no injuries reported so far, and the initial call remains under investigation.
The public is asked to avoid the area while the investigation continues.
