OCONOMOWOC, Wis.– Police say they received multiple 911 calls reporting a person walking around openly carrying an “airsoft rifle and a machete.”
The person was seen walking near Second and Franklin Streets around 1:22 a.m. early Friday.
Authorities say they do not believe there is an ongoing threat to the community, and they believe the incident may have been related to “homecoming activity.”
The suspect was not caught.
Police are asking residents to check security cameras and ring doorbell footage from Thursday evening at 9:30 p.m. to Friday morning at 2 a.m.
