MILWAUKEE — Milwaukee Police are looking for multiple armed suspects, after four Messmer High School students were robbed.
Police responded around 3:30 p.m. on August 28 near N. Port Washington Avenue and E. Capitol Drive near the school’s campus. The students reported that several armed, masked suspects demanded and then took property from the students before fleeing.
The suspects remain on the run, and then students involved were not injured.
In a statement to 620 WTMJ, Messmer High School leaders are prioritizing student safety.
We are aware of an incident involving Messmer students after school hours on Friday, August 28, on East Capitol Drive near our campus. The safety and well-being of our students is our top priority. We are working with the appropriate authorities, supporting the students and families involved, and communicating with our school community. Because this is an ongoing police matter, we are not able to provide additional details.
