Lowcountry Southern Seafood is the latest business to close near Milwaukee’s Water Street entertainment district, following recent announcements from Duke’s on Water and Silk Exotic.
While Lowcountry did not cite reasons for the closure, Greg Matzek and Adam Roberts discussed whether public safety concerns or rising business pressures are contributing to recent closures in the area on Wisconsin’s Midday News. The conversation comes as the Milwaukee Police Department plans to convert the former Duke’s on Water space into a police facility.
