RANDALL, Wis.– A 23-year-old man is dead after crashing his pick-up truck into a house in western Kenosha County.
The Twin Lakes Fire Department and Rescue Squad responded to a call at home near 104th and 395th in the Town of Randall around 2:38 a.m. Friday, July 17.
According to the Kenosha County Sheriff’s Office, the driver was speeding northbound on 395th when the truck left the roadway and hit the house.
The truck crashed about 10 feet into the home. The truck driver then got out of the truck and asked if anyone inside the house was hurt.
Residents of the house told investigators that the driver then went back inside the truck and died from a self-inflicted gunshot wound.
The homeowners escaped the crash, and no one inside the house was injured.
Kenosha County Sheriff’s Office is still investigating the crash.
