MILWAUKEE — 32-year-old Anton Best is charged with one felony count of misconduct for kneeling on a man’s neck during an arrest in Brookfield.
West Allis Police say they became aware of the use of force in the incident when it happened at the end of January. The on-duty officer’s actions were deemed an excessive use of force.
Best has been placed on suspension since the beginning of the criminal charges.
If convicted, Best could face up to 3 and a half years in prison.
