WASHINGTON — President Donald Trump is endorsing Congressman Tom Tiffany in the Wisconsin governor’s race.
In a post on Truth Social, President Trump said Tiffany is a” very successful Businessman, Family Farmer, and State Legislator, prior to becoming a distinguished United States Congressman.”

The Republican primary for governor includes Tiffany and Washington County Executive Josh Schoemann.
There are over a half-dozen candidates running in the Democratic primary. That includes Lt. Governor Sara Rodriguez, Milwaukee County Executive David Crowley, State Representative Francesca Hong, State Senator Kelda Roys, former CEO of the Wisconsin Economic Development Corporation Missy Hughes, former President of the Greater Milwaukee Committee Joel Brennan, former Lt. Governor Mandela Barnes, State Representative Brett Hulsey and college student Zachary Roper.
With Governor Tony Evers not seeking a third term, it’s the first time Wisconsin has had a wide open gubernatorial race since 2010.
The primary election is August 11.
