MILWAUKEE — An argument at a store on Milwaukee’s west side Thursday afternoon led to a shooting and multiple arrests, according to Milwaukee police.
Authorities say it happened around 2:40 p.m. near 35th and Garfield.
A 52-year-old man got into an argument inside the store, then started shooting from outside the store, striking a 20-year-old victim, according to Milwaukee police.
Three other suspects returned gunfire, hitting the 52-year-old suspect.
MPD says the 52-year-old fled the scene and was located by officers in the 2100 block of W. Auer Avenue.
The two people shot were taken to the hospital, but are expected to survive.
Police say the four people who fired gunshots, including a 27-year-old man, 45-year-old man and 31-year-old woman were all arrested.
Criminal charges will be referred to the Milwaukee County District Attorney’s Office.
