DOOR COUNTY, Wis. — The body of a missing Greendale woman was recovered near Peninsula State Park in the Bay of Green Bay.
She has been identified as 42-year-old Lisa Janine Pipp.
First responders in Door County found the body floating in the water near Little Strawberry Island just after 5 p.m. on Wednesday, June 4.
Pipp was first reported missing on Jan. 13. According to Menominee Police Department in Michigan, she was last seen walking away from a vehicle on the ice of Green Bay during an argument. Weeks of extensive air, water and ground search efforts were unsuccessful.
Preliminary autopsy findings show no signs of foul play. Full autopsy reports are pending.
