Investigations continue into at least nine deaths in Milwaukee County this weekend.
The Milwaukee County Medical Examiner’s office provided an update on what they have been called to over the past 24 hours.
Investigations in the last 24 hours: 3 homicides, 3 OD’s, 1 drowning, 1 fatal MVA and 1 COVID death. Autopsies scheduled for Monday.

Four of those deaths occurred in Milwaukee, according to Milwaukee Police
One involved a two-vehicle accident that took place around 6th and Wisconsin around 3:20 a.m. Saturday, September 19, 2020.
It was caused when a vehicle went through a red light and struck a second vehicle, causing it to end up on its side.
The driver of the second vehicle, a 29-year-old woman, was partially ejected from the vehicle and needed to be extricated by emergency responders. She died from her injuries at a hospital Sunday, September 20, 2020.
Three people inside the second vehicle, a 34-year-old man, a 28-year-old woman, and a 26-year-old man, suffered non-life threatening injuries.
The driver of the first vehicle, a 26-year-old man, was arrested and is awaiting charges.
Another death occurred due to a person jumping into the Milwaukee River Saturday evening. Police say a 28-year-old man was fleeing Milwaukee County Sheriff’s deputies on foot when he jumped into the river near Clybourn Street around 6:10 p.m.
Members of the Milwaukee Fire Department rescued the man, but he passed away from his injuries at a hospital.
A road rage incident is the cause for another death this weekend. Police say it took place just before 9 p.m. Saturday on the 1600 block of North 6th Street.
A 16-year-old man suffered a fatal gun shot wound to his chest. Police are searching for unknown suspects. Anyone with information on this shooting is asked to contact them at 414-935-7360 or Milwaukee Crime Stoppers at either 414-224-8477 or the P3 Tips app.
Police are also investigating the death of a man found inside a burning vehicle on the city’s north side Sunday morning.
