The Milwaukee County Sheriff’s Office is asking for the public’s help as they investigate a death of a woman, who was first found unconscious in Washington Park.
Deputies and members of the Milwaukee Fire Department were called to the park’s lagoon around 9:30 p.m. on Wednesday, September 16, 2020 where 36-year-old Ee Lee of Milwaukee was found. She was transported to a medical facility, where she passed away on Saturday, September 19.
The Sheriff’s Office says they are actively pursuing multiple leads into Lee’s death. They are asking anyone was at Washington Park betweek 6 and 10 p.m. on September 16 to contact them at 414-278-4788.
They are also asking anyone who may have seen Ms. Lee in the area surrounding Washington Park between 5:45 and 8 p.m. that Wednesday to also reach out.
This is based on surveillance video from a business that captured Ms. Lee entering shortly before 6 p.m. at 4900 West North Avenue. She was seen wearing a light blue-and-gray hooded sweatshirt and carrying a green coat and yellow bag.
At 6:18 p.m. she was seen walking in Washington Park near the lagoon.
