The Grafton School District says someone at Grafton High School has tested positive for coronavirus.
In an email to parents on Wednesday, the district says it has worked with the Washington-Ozaukee Public Health Department to ‘quickly identify, notify, and quarantine any students or staff who may have come into close contact’ with the person who tested positive.
The district didn’t specify whether it was a student or staff member with the positive test.
According to the email, the families of students who may have had close contact with that person have received a personal notification.
Those close contacts will be assigned to virtual learning for 14 days.
Grafton schools gave parents the option of virtual or in-person learning for the this school year, which began on Tuesday.
WTMJ has reached out to the Grafton School District, but has yet to hear back.
