One 27-year-old man was injured in the incident leading to the closure of I-43 for about three and a half hours. He should survive his injuries.
Update: 2:23 p.m.
All northbound lanes of I-43 are now open after almost four hours of being closed.
Update: 2:20 p.m.
All southbound lanes of I-43 are now open after the end of the law enforcement incident.

Milwaukee County Sheriff’s deputies have closed both directions of I-43 just north of the Marquette Interchange. Wells Street between 10th and 11th Street is also closed.
The closure started at around 10:45 a.m.
A “law enforcement incident” has led to the closure, according to the Wisconsin Department of Transportation. There does not appear to be a danger to the community.
Southbound traffic was being diverted off at Highland Avenue. Northbound traffic was being diverted at the Marquette Interchange. Ramps to I-43 northbound from I-94 eastbound and I-794 westbound were being closed as well.
