A fire on Milwaukee’s north side spread across three buildings and caused about half a million dollars in damage Tuesday morning.
TMJ4 News says the fire happened near the corner of North 31st Street and West North Avenue at about 4 a.m.
Firefighters worked into daylight to put out the fire. One of the buildings was destroyed.
A family was able to safely escape the fire.
There was no initial word on the cause of the fire.
