Milwaukee-area bars are forced to close their doors, just ahead of one of the busiest bar days of the year.
Eleven Milwaukee County Municipal Leaders issued an emergency order overnight to close bars and restaurants to in-house patrons.
The order went into effect Tuesday, March 17 at 2:01 a.m. and lasts until further notice.
The municipalities included are: Milwaukee, South Milwaukee, St. Francis, Bayside, Brown Deer, Cudahy, Fox Point, Glendale, River Hills, Shorewood, and Whitefish Bay.
Restaurants with take-out and delivery options will still be able to operate those services.
