A report says that Southeastern Wisconsin now has its fourth confirmed case of COVID-19 after a new case was confirmed in Racine County.
TMJ4 News says that someone from Racine County contracted the virus while traveling outside the United States. They have been isolated at home.
“Central Racine County Health Department is actively working with this case, and CRCHD will continue to work with Wisconsin Department of Health Services (DHS), the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC), and our local partners to ensure the health and safety of our community,” said Margaret Gesner, Health Officer for Central Racine County Health Department to TMJ4 News.
“It is important to note that this person is not linked with any school, childcare, or long-term care facility.”
One case was confirmed in Waukesha County, while two more were confirmed in Fond du Lac County.
