Police say the child was brought to the front lobby of District Four’s police station unresponsive just after 8:30 a.m. on January 26, 2020.
Officers and responding Milwaukee Fire Department medical assistance performed life-saving measures, but the infant was not revived.
The investigation into what led to the infant’s death continues. What is known is that the infant came from the 5900 block of North 66th Street. Foul play is not suspected as of Sunday afternoon.
