Menomonee Falls Police are searching for suspects who are responsible for the recent theft of items from Best Buy this week.
The first theft took place Monday, December 16, 2019 around 6:40 p.m. A man and woman entered the store and used over $2300 in bills to purchase two iPhone 11 Pro smartphones. They returned to the store around 7:15 p.m. to exchange them for ones with different colors.
After the exchange, it was discovered the returned phones were counterfeits. Also, the cash used by the suspects may have also been counterfeit. In total, four iPhone 11 Pro’s were stolen.
The second theft took place the next day, Tuesday, December 17, 2019 around 1 p.m. A male suspect entered the store and took two Playstation gaming stations without paying. He left the store in a 1999 Toyota Camry four-door with a black auto bra and Wisconsin license plate AAN-4391.
The suspect is described to be in his 20s with thin facial hair. He was seen wearing a red jacket, black baseball hat, and red and black Jordan shoes.
