The threat of major storms coming into Southeastern Wisconsin Thursday is leading the National Weather Service and Wisconsin Emergency Management to push back its statewide tornado drills from Thursday to Friday.
Those drills will now be held at these times Friday, according to the Milwaukee County Office of Emergency Management:
1 p.m. and 6 p.m.: Mock statewide tornado watch
1:45 p.m. and 6:45 p.m.: Mock statewide tornado warning.
During the warning, municipalities will start outdoor warning sirens while issuing a Wireless Emergency Alert test.
