Milwaukee Police are in need of the public’s help in finding a suspect who committed an armed robbery on the city’s west side.
The crime took place around 4:50 p.m. on February 3, 2019 at a Subway, located on the 600 block of South Hawley Road. The suspect, who was armed with a knife, grabbed an employee by their shirt and demanded money from the cash register. After getting an unknown amount, the suspect fled the store.
The suspect is described as a black male in his early 40’s, standing about six-feet tall with a heavy build. He was last seen wearing a black knit cap, a blue winter jacket with white stripes, a dark polo shirt with a black shirt underneath it, dark colored pants, and black and white shoes.
