Children’s Hospital of Wisconsin is halting children from visiting patients at its hospitals due to flu concerns.
The health care network said that starting on Wednesday, visitors who are younger than 12 years old will not be allowed to see hospital patients at its Milwaukee and Fox Valley locations for as long as the flu season lasts.
According to the hospital network, there is no restriction on children under 12 years old who need care from getting service at the hospitals’ emergency department, urgent care locations or clinics..
