The University of Wisconsin Police Department in Madison says that they are looking for a suspect with a gun discovered near Camp Randall Stadium and the UW Campus on Monday.
That request was made on their social media after a report that a woman was found with the gun on the 1700 block of Monroe Street.
That is about a half block south of the part of the UW campus including Camp Randall and the University of Wisconsin Field House.along Regent Street.
The university gave this update on the suspect at about 3:20 p.m.
