West Bend Police are investigating a deadly one-vehicle accident from Saturday after the vehicle struck a school building.
Police got word around 12:15 p.m. that the vehicle crashed into Good Shepard School. When officers and firefighters arrived, they noticed extensive damage to the vehicle and building.
Officers found the driver, a 21-year-old West Bend male, slumped over the wheel and unresponsive with injuries to his head and legs. He was pronounced dead at the scene.
There were no other people inside the vehicle, nor was there anyone in the school when the accident took place. There was no update on the extent of damage to the building as of Sunday morning.
A cause for the accident and death remain under investigation.
