It appears that some shuffling will be happening in the Milwaukee Brewers defensive lineup to help get a new Brewer opportunities in the lineup and help fill a roster hole.
Brewers manager Craig Counsell told numerous reporters including Journal Sentinel beat writer and WTMJ Brewers 360 contributor Tom Haudricourt that Christian Yelich will become a left fielder, while longtime left fielder Ryan Braun will platoon in right field.
This will also give former All-Star Avisail Garcia, a new Brewer, more playing time in the starting lineup in right.
#Brewers manager Craig Counsell more specifically laid out his OF plan today: Christian Yelich will primarily play LF. Avisail Garcia and Ryan Braun will share time in right, with Braun also playing 1B.
