A right fielder with both All-Star and playoff experience will join the Milwaukee Brewers outfield, according to a report.
Avisail Garcia has agreed to a two-year, $20 million contract, according to Jon Heyman of MLB Network.
Garcia, 6’4″ and 250 lbs., batted .282 with a .796 OPS, 20 home runs and 72 RBI in 125 games during 2019 with Tampa Bay – a divisional playoff opponent of eventual AL champion Houston.
He spent six years with the Chicago White Sox, for whom he was voted for the 2017 MLB All-Star Game.
