MILWAUKEE — A teenager was killed Wednesday night in what police say was an “unintentional shooting” on Milwaukee’s west side.
It happened around 8:10 p.m. in the 3200 block of W. Vliet Street.
The suspect was negligently handling a firearm and unintentionally shot a 13-year-old victim, according to Milwaukee police. The teenager was pronounced dead at the scene.
Milwaukee Police say they are not seeking additional suspects.
The circumstances leading up to the shooting are under investigation.
