The City of Chicago is adding travelers from Wisconsin to the city’s coronavirus quarantine order, according to a published report.
Chicago Mayor Lori Lightfoot said they will add Wisconsin to the order, which requires 14-day quarantines for people either going to Chicago from states with high COVID-19 levels or vice versa, as reported by WLS-TV in Chicago.
Wisconsin has seen a surge in cases this month, with the state’s highest 7-day total of daily positive tests coming on Sunday with 930 per day.
The state has topped 15 new daily cases per 100,000 people, the benchmark Chicago has used for implementing the travel quarantine order.
