While the total number of coronavirus tests in Wisconsin has risen to more than 20,000 overall, the percentage of positive results over the last 24 hours remains under five percent for the sixth straight day. According to the Wisconsin Department of Health Services on Friday, just 2.9 percent of tests came back positive for COVID-19 in that time frame.
Between Thursday and Friday, 357 positive results came from a total 11,965 tests performed. More than 10,000 tests have been conducted in Wisconsin for four consecutive days.
Since the outbreak began, 20,249 people have tested positive for coronavirus in the state, with 633 of them not surviving.
