Food access in Milwaukee is often framed as an urban problem, but author Brian Reisinger says the challenges facing city neighborhoods and Wisconsin farmers are more connected than they may appear.
Reisinger, author of Land Rich, Cash Poor, joined Point Taken after moderating a the Milwaukee Journal Sentinel event focused on food accessibility. The panel brought together representatives from neighborhoods, the grocery industry and policy organizations to discuss why some communities struggle to find affordable fresh food, and what could be done about it.
