This week’s episode of WTMJ Outdoors looks at safety and the incredible popularity of the ATV/UTV industry in Wisconsin. With ridership at an all-time high, the state of Wisconsin has seen an uptick in the number of injuries and fatalities, especially among senior riders.
Wisconsin Department of Natural Resources Warden Jacob Holsclaw joined Steve Scaffidi for an extended conversation on the importance of following safety protocols when it comes to riding an ATV or UTV on the many trails and roadways in the state.
From the Wisconsin ATV/UTV Association, President Randy Harden reinforced that message as his organization increases their public outreach on ridership safety but also the importance of following posted guidelines when it comes to where and how riders use their vehicles.
Noah Bloedorn, Executive Director of the Reap Food Group, stopped by to highlight the work his organization is doing to build a better food system for all in Wisconsin.
