MILWAUKEE — One person was rescued from the Milwaukee River in downtown Milwaukee on Sunday night.
Milwaukee Fire Department dive teams pulled the man from the water near Plankinton Ave. and Wells St. just before 8 p.m. on Aug. 30.
The man is estimated to be in his 30s. He was given CPR, then taken to Columbia St. Mary’s Hospital.
It’s unclear what the man’s condition is or how he ended up in the river.
