The deck of a pontoon boat

WTMJ Outdoors brings you the best of summer adventures this week, with some great conversations on the popularity of boating and a nod to the next great season of outdoor activities focused on Wisconsin’s game bird hunting seasons this Fall.

WTMJ Outdoors is presented by Outdoor Living Unlimited, opening the door to making your outside space into your own personal oasis.

Taylor Finger, Game Bird Ecologist at the Wisconsin Department of Natural Resources, stops by WTMJ Outdoors to highlight the strength of Wisconsin’s bird habitat and game bird populations, as hunters get set to return to one of the state’s most popular outdoor activities.

Mike Wescott, General Manager at Skipper Buds in Pewaukee, Wisconsin, visited WTMJ Outdoors to detail the incredible rise in popularity of pontoon boats and what questions you should be asking when you are in the market for a boat.

And Ellen Bradley, Senior Vice President at Discover Boating stops by to highlight why boating is fast becoming America’s favorite pastime.

All of this is on the docket this week on WTMJ Outdoors. Catch it on Saturdays on 620 WTMJ, or anytime on the podcast page.

Steve Scaffidi is also the host of Point Taken, which airs 10-Noon weekdays on 620 WTMJ.
