WEST ALLIS, Wis.– The Wisconsin State Fair is a summer hot spot; plan your visit by following the bag policy.
Wisconsin State Fair 2026 bag policy:
All bags, including purses, backpacks and clear bags, must be smaller than 9 inches x 10 inches x 12 inches.
Fair attendees can bring multiple bags inside as long as they are smaller than the 9″x10″x12″ requirement. All bags will be searched by security.
Empty softshell bags, totes and backpacks are allowed in, regardless of size. Security will also search the empty bags.
There are no lockers to store oversized bags at the fair.
Fair visitors can bring in sealed water bottles, empty reusable bottles, cups and souvenir cups.
Medical items and family care items, such as diaper bags, water and snacks for kids, are allowed on the grounds. No medical proof or doctor’s note is needed.
Public Safety will take any prohibited items and will not return them.
