The positive COVID-19 test percentage dipped Tuesday, after four days of positive tests results of more than 5% in Wisconsin.
The Wisconsin Department of Health Services reported 4.7% of all COVID-19 tests performed over the last 24 hours were positive.
It is the first time since Thursday that the percentage of positive tests was below 5%, with a peak of 7.1 percent on Sunday.
In terms of raw numbers, of the 12,180 tests performed over this most recent 24-hour period, 601 came back with positive diagnosis.
Since the pandemic began, 28,659 people have had confirmed cases of coronavirus in Wisconsin; 784 of those cases have been fatal.
