A man who represents the City of Milwaukee and Shorewood in the State Assembly says that an encounter at a coffee shop in Shorewood became the point where he contracted COVID-19.
In a news conference, he described his symptoms.
“It started for me with body aches. Not being able to get warm. I literally was walking around my home with a winter hat on, with the heat on blast, and still could not get warm,” said Bowen.
“The fever started next for me. My fever went up to 103 degrees.”
Next, came the respiratory symptoms that so many people have encountered.
“The coughing, the respiratory…the tightness in your lungs. Thank God I do not have asthma,” he said.
“Be careful. The symptoms can have pretty immobilizing effects.”
He also emphasized that it was not a crowded location that led to his situation, but a much more simple encounter.
