MILWAUKEE — The lawyer for the family of Sade Robinson, the 19-year-old who was murdered and dismembered on a first date in Milwaukee, says a member of the public discovered additional remains.
Robinson’s head was never found, but the family says they have recovered parts of her jaw and several teeth. The family was notified Friday of the remains being found near Warnimont Park on the beach, on top of the stone.
The family is asking the public to be aware and keep an eye out for any additional remains. They washed along shore of Lake Michigan between Cudahy, Wisconsin, and Waukegan, Illinois.
“Sade has solved her own case,” says Sheena Scarbrough, Robinson’s mother. “I am thankful the individual that was out on the beach lines and came across these remains, and reached out to law enforcement. Thankfully, this was sent to the ME, and identified.”
They have also asked media and the public to refrain from reaching out to members of the family individually. They say they will continue to search the area the remains were found, in hopes of finding the rest of her head.
This is a developing story; more information will be added as it becomes available.
