MILWAUKEE — A police chase ended with one person dead and another seriously injured in a crash, with two suspects under arrest on Monday.
Milwaukee Police say officers tried to stop a car wanted in a narcotics investigation near 22nd Street and McKinley Avenue around 2:31 p.m. on Oct. 19. The driver fled recklessly, eventually crashing into another car near 30th Street and Center Street.
A 28-year-old driving the second car was taken to the hospital for serious injuries. An unidentified passenger in that car died.
A 40-year-old man driving the wanted car and his passenger, a 36-year-old woman, were treated for minor injuries and arrested.
Criminal charges will be reviewed by the Milwaukee County District Attorney’s Office.
