Wisconsin voters will get their only scheduled chance to see David Crowley and Tom Tiffany debate side-by-side Wednesday night, putting added pressure on both candidates and the journalists asking the questions.
WISN 12 political director Matt Smith and Gerron Jordan joined Point Taken ahead of the Oct. 21 gubernatorial debate to explain how they are preparing for the high-stakes, hour-long event.
Democratic Milwaukee County Executive David Crowley and Republican U.S. Rep. Tom Tiffany will debate from 7 to 8 p.m. at Marquette University Law School. WISN 12 says topics will include cost of living, taxes, immigration enforcement, data centers and election security.
With only two weeks remaining before Election Day, Wednesday’s debate could be one of the last major opportunities for Crowley and Tiffany to make their cases to voters in the same place, at the same time.
